The default repositories of Ubuntu 14.04 provide Clementine 1.2.0, while the latest has reached version 1.2.3 which fixed poor search performance with sqlite 3.8 and some minor bugs. Clementine 1.1 is available to download for various Linux distributions, Windows and Mac OS X from the project's site. Clementine is a music player inspired by Amarok 1.4 that focuses on a fast and easy to use interface to find and play your music. Clementine is a cross-platform program that, its developers say, is designed to be both fast and easy-to-use, and was inspired by version 1.4 of Amarok (the current release is Amarok 2.6).
